1017 metres of ascent over 7.40 km from the same Y-junction as Kongsviktinden — four kilometres of winter-closed road where the band below 100 m measures 1.2 degrees, then the moors at Sætran, the broad ramp and the plateau to the summit with the pinnacle. The steepest single stretch, 31.0 degrees between 741 and 768 m, sits exactly where the ramp meets the ridge — and where the cornice can stand, says the source: keep left, to the south. From the Y-junction at 25 m follow the winter-closed road about 4 km into Kongsvikdalen — the line crosses the braided Kongsvikelva where the road does, on the bridges. At Sætran you turn right and north-east: across the moors at 262 m, where the band from 100 to 200 is the tour's steepest hundred metres at 18.0 degrees.
