Start at the car park at Nordseter, 828 m — a paid plot tagged for skiing in OSM, 135 metres from Nordseter Fjellstue. Ut.no: «on groomed trails north from the car park at Nordseter toward the foot of the summit.» The Nordseter road from Lillehammer is ploughed all winter, and the bus runs there.
