Rødtinden
450 metres of climbing and 2.32 km from the Storelva ski stadium to the summit at 470 m — the most-visited top around Tromsø, and a tour for any occasion. The steepest hundred-metre band is 15.1 degrees between 300 and 400 m, and the steepest step 24.2 degrees between 429 and 447. The one genuinely steep thing on the mountain is south-east of the cairn, and the route does not go in it.

Start at the Storelva ski stadium on Kvaløysletta, 20 m, where there is mapped parking at the ski stadium. The mountain is Rødtinden in Norwegian and Ruksesvárri in Northern Sami, and Kartverket's register carries both.
