From the parking after the bridge at Nervatnet — 223 m, E6 south from Narvik and into Håkvikdalen; the local bus to the bridge is the source's own alternative. Nervatnet is a regulated reservoir, so the line keeps the shoreline path on land — the source offers the ice «if it is stable», an offer this product always declines. Across the bog south of the lake and up through the sparse forest: the trees end at 546 m after 2.96 km.
