446 metres of ascent over 2.69 km from the plowed car park at the Kvæfjord ski trails to Storlitinden — the hill next door to Vetefjellet, and the easier of the two. KAST 1 – Simple in Fri Flyt, which calls it the tour for anyone who wants an easy way up and an easy way down. Grade 1.

From the large, always-plowed municipal car park at the start of the Kvæfjord ski trails — 167 m — you follow the tractor road past Kvilheim, 214 m, and head north across farmland. There are a couple of fence crossings on the way. Fri Flyt publishes 400 metres of climbing for the tour, and that is from Kvilheim: 613 minus 400 is 213, and Kvilheim reads 214. The band from 100 to 200 m measures a mean 4.3 degrees, and 200 to 300 m measures 6.2 over 990 metres of ground: the first kilometre is nearly flat.
